Rebellion Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon made from a mash bill of about 70% corn and 30% rye and malted barley. The whiskey is distilled in copper-pot stills then aged in charred American oak casks for a minimum of six years.

Nose is sweet with a hint of spice. Starts out a little flat but finishes strong with a peppery note. Hints of leather and oil. Surprised at the strong strong taste given the proof.
Strong corn / grain/ Karo corn syrup on the nose and palate. A lot of alcohol burn and bitterness on the palate. Better whiskeys for the price.
I tried this back in college at the rugby house. The taste of it knocked me on my ass harder than the team prop could!
