This toasted barrel from Red Line is a caramel forward bourbon. It will coat your tongue like syrup and the spice lingers in the mouth for a long while. Caramel and honey flavors are primary and the 115 proof heat is always present but not terribly over-powering. The finish was all spice for me that lingers on the palette for a good while.
Caramel and honey on the nose and pallet. Finishes with a little bit of pepper on the front of the tongue. A very easy drinker at full proof hard to believe it is proofed at 111.5. I’m not sure it’s worth the $79 I paid for it, but it is still a very good pour. 
Caramel for the aroma and to the initial taste. Finishes with small spice almost peppery from the toasted barrel.
Spicy up-front. Woody/sweet finish. You can get a hint of the orange. Surprisingly smooth with an ice cube
Very smooth for proof and excellent taste.
