Redbreast Dream Cask Double Cask Edition 30 Year

This is the 5th edition for Redbreast in its Dream Cask series which is launched each year to coincide with World Whisky Day in May. For the 2022 release, two Dream Casks filled with single pot still whiskey were chosen to be married and bottled. Master Blender Billy Leighton chose a first-fill oloroso sherry butt which was laid down in May 1990 and Blender Dave McCabe chose a first-fill bourbon cask which was filled in November 1991. After marrying the two casks, this whiskey was bottled without chill filtration at 56.9% ABV. Only 714 bottles produced.
