Overall a sold cask strength bourbon with some spiciness due to high rye content, cherry, vanilla, toffee, and nuttiness. It presents along the lines of the darker bourbon profile. It’s doesn’t hide its heat, and the mouth feel is not quite as soft, mouth coating or oily as I prefer. Finish is decent but not exceedingly long. However it provides the qualities I enjoy in a bourbon sufficient to keep one interested and reaching for the bottle regularly.

Caramel Bomb! Seriously. If you ever bought microwave caramel popcorn, opened the pouch of caramel before you put it into the bag of popcorn…then smelled and tasted that caramel….that is this bourbon. Damn. So good.
