Redwood Empire Haystack Needle

Not a lot of flavors for being 117 proof. I proofed it down to see if a little water would open it up and unlock some more flavors. Proofing it down didn’t result in any more flavors or tasting notes. Medium to long finsh but I think that has more to do with the high proof then the bourbon.

This is a pretty disgusting whiskey. The internet is so positive on this distillery that i find myself wondering if the distillery pays for positive coverage.
