Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Caramel, vanilla, stonefruit. Palate: Cinnamon, baking spice, clove. Finish: Long with medium heat. Splash: A bit of oaky bitterness appears. Overall: 7.5/10 - This is a bottle I’ve had for a while and haven’t opened until now. I had to purchase it in a bundle with Stagg and didn’t really want it at the time. I had hoped to trade it and then forgot about it for a while. Now that I’ve opened it, it’s good bourbon but…for MGP at 100 proof for $100, I was hoping for more. At a lower price this would rate higher. It’s still good bourbon, but doesn’t quite live up to the price point.

Nice and crushable but needs something more to make it worth the price. Nice nose and sweet cherry cordial pie flavors , but finish is so short . Hits well below 100 proof and thin mouthfeel . The juice is really good and if that was the only factor to consider when scoring this i would give it a higher score , but at $100 bottle it needs to take you on a better finished trip
Color: Golden Honey Nose: Light, subtle sugars, rye Taste: Sweet apple, rye bread, slightly oily mouthfeel but thin, very easy drinker. Finish: Rye spice lingers at the end, fairly mellow finish. Overall: Easy drinker, very balanced with sweetness and rye spice. I had neat, but I could see this being a very crushable pour with an ice cube on a warm day.
Surprised of the slight burn on the back end of a 100 proof bottle. Great ending that follows through. Pallet is like the smell. Vanilla and caramel. Very good.
Little better than VI I think, pretty good! Little more corn and rye forward
Just okay. Had a taste at Liquor Lovers.
