1.18.22 Served: Neat, Long shot glass Aroma: Clover Honey, Ammonia, Brownies (cocoa vanilla) Flavor: Starts just like the complex Bourbon County Stout with notes of chocolate and coconut. Chocolate continues into malty mids. Finishes lightly bitter. This is the baseline Bourbon County Bierschnapps as a collaboration between Rhine Hall and Goose Island. The stout, already having been aged in bourbon barrels, is distilled and then re-aged in the same barrels for one year, making this spirit a unique product of second and third use aging. Versions that have been re-aged for 3 and 5 years have also been released.
