The sweet aroma is quite nice. Floral. I've never had sherry so I can only assume -- based on my tastings of the other two -- that what I'm savoring is the sherry since I can't place the exact flavors. However, I think the sherry flavor out-competes the rum a bit too much, thus my slightly lower rating. The Tawny Port is my favorite of the three. Actually works very well in soda! If your disposable income is greater than mine then use this in your daily rum & coke, LOL. Rating based on neat sipping.

Le meilleurs des abuelo testé, le fût de xérès apporte vraiment un plus par rapport aux gammes inférieures de la marque, un final en bouche tres patissier que l'on peut retrouver chez certains jamaïquains. Seul bémol le prix assez élevé, des equivalences moins chères possibles. Je recommande tout de même si vous avez les moyens.
Of the 3 rums in this series, this one is my favourite, followed by the Tawny Port. Nice, deep flavour.
