One of the best rums I've tried to date, personally I think it is superior to Diplomatico, goes fantastically smooth, lots of molasses, orange peel and oak with the signature vanilla taste of Don Papa. Perfect neat or with ice, especially great with a cigar
About this bottle
Don Papa Rum is named after the late Papa Isio, a leader and freedom fighter who believed in the Philippines' independence from Spanish rule. The rum is distilled from sugarcane grown in his home island of Negros and aged for 10 years in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon using re-charred barrels of American oak. It's bottled at a higher proof of 43% ABV than the brand's 7 Year offering bottled at 40% ABV. A limited production run of 5,000 bottlings were ever released.

un bon compromis par rapport au 7 and, je le trouve moins sucré et moins « trafiqué « , toujours avec beaucoup d’aromes. La différence avec le 7 ans est bien là
Deep unique flavor and sweet. Lots of orange peel, molasses, ... I like it a lot but it's probably not for everyone.
Iets mindere vanille smaak en iets minder zoetig. Maar met een wat scherper randje. Keurige rum!
Tweede rum na de Don Papa Small Batch. Minder floraal, sterkere smaak. Lekker!
Complex flavor, sugary, a bit spicy but something not fully natural...
