This Banana Rum is one of the new flavor extensions from the Blue Chair Bay Rum brand. The rum is distilled from molasses in Barbados and spends at least one year in oak. The flavored rums are sold at a lower proof (53 proof) than their base white rum (80 proof).

Nice banana nose with a hint of sweetness. Banana bread flavor. Banana pudding finish with a touch of alcohol pinch.

Pretty alright as far as flavored rums are concerned. Banana is not predominately shoved on the palate.
