A complex, blended spirit, crafted with a blend of 50% Ron Colón Salvadoreño Rum (a 6-year-old Spanish style rum, unaged Jamaican pot-distilled and a 3-year-old Jamaican pot-distilled. with a 4-year-old American straight rye whiskey, produced from 100% rye & aged in #4 char casks, before being bottled at 50% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, cane, tropical fruits, wood, flowers, herbs & spices; while a rich & complex life adds notes of buttery toffee, mint, marmalade, banana, grilled pineapple, caramel, maple & orange blossoms; that led to a balanced death of medium length with a touch of oak, orange zest & anise. pepper & rye spice.
