About this bottle

Five Star, aged up to 35 years in American white oak sherry casks, is the first collectible edition of rum from the brand founded in 1880. Created by master blender M. Luis Planas, there will be 2500 bottles in total available worldwide. The first 200 bottles will be individually numbered and will reside in a wooden chest. Availability begins August 2018.

One of the best rums I have ever had neat. It has complex and deep aromas without deviating from the barrilito line. Sweet, leather, oak, fruits and tabaco are some of the notes. Full and rich taste and long dry finish, lots of oak in a good way. Complex aromas will stick to the glass for a long time after finishing the drink. - A true experience!
