A delicate, American Wheat Whiskey by Roughstock Distillery in Bozeman,, the first distillery in Montana. They keep everything local — they say, “Grain to Glass” . “Spring wheat” refers to softer, low-gluten wheats that are often used to make cake flour. They are smoother & ferment well, delivering a less grain-like punch"; before being aged in ex-Bourbon casks & then finished in well-toasted virgin French oak. It has a delicate birth with notes of oak, honey, hay & lemon; while a lightly sweet & dry life adds notes of cereal.; that led to a delicate & dry death. August / December 2018 / August 2022
