Nose of brown sugar and faint nilla wafer cookies Palate of sweet stone fruit maybe dried apricots and rye spice Finish is long of barrel tannins and clove A unique pour that has some complexity in the palate that takes some time to parse out.
Not bad …. Nose is classic bourbon. Taste does come off a bit hot but so bad that it’s off putting. Has a bit of young graininess to it, but again not off putting. Nice medium finish. Not one I’d buy a whole bottle but a nice try at a bar.
I had a store pick. One of the best bourbons ive ever tried. Its a little young, but the flavor is outstanding.
