From an undisclosed Islay distillery. 25%of the spirit has been finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry octaves. Nose: Sweet sherry, peat and smoke. A lot of fruit on the nose (apple and apricot) Palate: Theres the obvious peat, but actually there’s a more prominent fruit sweetness, berries and apples. It’s a chunky taste with a meatiness underneath. Finish: More sweet apples underneath the short oaky, peaty finish. Overall, for it’s price point, this is a very impressive dram. It’s what I’d consider a session whisky. Uncomplicated, and easy to drink for a peated whisky. This went down very fast! Lovely!

Deep complex musty aroma, age and peat. Green and floral on the tongue, reminds me of grassy Irish whiskey. Definitely see the seaweed in the name. Big peat hit, but blended perfectly with the wood and floral notes. Needs a little sweetness, but the flavors that are there are very well blended.
A lighter Laphroag with a prominent sherry note. I might buy it if I ever see a bottle and it’s cheap.
Surprisingly fruity. Briny smoke. Interesting, but I don’t think I would add it to my collection.
просто вау, положил парням в адвенты, купил чуток себе, все заорали, пойду бутылку куплю
Isoamyl acetate, sultanas, and peat. Not as briny as I expected.
