Nose: Apple, caramel, nut, very fragrant Palate: Spice, oak Finish, Short with a grainy profile A bit unbalanced, a youthful blend. While the nose was interesting, the palate just doesn't deliver on that promise.
About this bottle
Named for the water it uses from the Seven Devils mountain range, this is Idaho's "first bourbon" though that statement may be a bit misleading as it is distilled in Kentucky, but bottled in Idaho. Koenig Distillery and Winery also has wine, brandy, and vodka to their name but this is their initiation into the whiskey world.

Harsh at first, not too bad on the back end. It just seems dull, muted. Kinda spicy, kinda maple, kinda mint. Like tasting through a filter.
Very smooth. Reminiscent of Jim Beam without the brown sugary sweetness. Has a nice slow burn on the back of the pallette.
A basic whiskey, strong spice and cinnamon notes. Pretty harsh, burns for a while. Needs ice.
Harsh burn. Carmel and hints of spice, but not full on flavor. Overall pretty unremarkable.
Sweet taste. Heavy, dense...slow to warm throat
