Seven Stills Tomahawp

The first time I tried this one I was not a fan. I decided to revisit it and I’m glad I did. It is very unique. Seven Stills (SF) made this in collaboration with Alvarado Street Brewery (Monterey). It’s distilled from a double IPA of the same name. You can tell it’s a rather young whiskey but it has some fun flavors going on. It’s very sweet at the start and ends with a big hit of hops, like you’d expect a good double IPA to do. Definitely worth a try.

Strong floral aroma, like roses. Some sweet acetone, but not in a bad way. Lots of hop character in the flavor, like opening a bag of pellets.
