This is an excellent scotch which was aged in Oloroso Casks which give it a color and a finish similar to bourbon. I am a bourbon drinker that finds this scotch very appealing. I get a medium cinnamon finish
Didn’t love the over powering sweet fruit notes on the nose but it taste like a typical speyside I like with a mild sherry finish. I’m not the biggest fan, but a very drinkable scotch.
Very alcohol forward, but it has the caramel notes I expect from whisky and the raisin notes from the sherry barrels. Was hoping for more complexity.

Rich and full of sherried fruit, spice, and caramel with nutty hints. Long mostly dry sherry finish.
Very grapey/winesque from the sherry finish. Sweet fig and raisin finish. Slight burn in the finish
