Nose: starts off with a very pleasant whiff of citrus, maybe orange peel, with an essence of cinnamon covered roasted apples - loving this start Palate: takes a turn away from the citrus and leans more into floral notes like spearmint along with some baking spices and a hint of vanilla - bit of a let down from the nose Finish: fairly short finish, but does have a nice pepper spice that lingers and a Kentucky hug that appears at the very end Overall: went downhill from the nose, but nothing offensive here, but nothing overly impressive or that matches the hype of the beautiful bottle

Nose: Caramel & Vanilla forward. Rye spice, pepper, and a bit of ethanol. Sweet and spicy nose. Palate: Creamy caramel and oak forward. Rye spice follows with a bit of pepper. The sweet forward helps to balance out the rye spice. Finish: Rye spice forward, but very flavorful. Hints of vanilla and caramel with oak and leather. Thoughts: Not bad. Easily sippable. Rye heavy, but the drink does a good job of balancing itself out with the sweet and spice.
Ok, i heard tne hype that this was a winner for the price , but i kissed too many frogs in price point and wasted alot a time and money . While this frog may not be a prince , it has some powerful legs to win alot of races . Share this pour with friends and enjoy the praise this bottle deserves. Notes of sweet oak and soft vanilla on the nose that follow thru on the palate and continue to add nice notes of mint and lemongrass .
Nice nose with notes of creamy vanila oak, burnt sugars, and dandelion tea. Drinks correctly at 100 proof with notes of nice oak backbone with hints of lemongrass and salted dark chocolate . Very solid pour and almost scored at 4 stars, but tonight it just felt it needed a little something else to grab that extra bump i couldnt find.
Definitely glad with this purchase, french toast on the nose also on the pallet. I have both the uncut and the small batch. Trying them both side by side I can see similarities between them. The uncut really isnt a whole lot hotter than the small batch. Really liking them both
This drinks a little hot for the proof point. It also has a young note that is very prominent. Honestly, I’m a little bummed that I paid 60 for this. Not bad overall, but I just was wanting a little more quality for the price.
