Amazingly well balanced. It’d be an excellent daily sipper if it was easier to find in my area. Nots of toffee, butterscotch, caramel, vanilla, and bitter black coffee. The finish is soft and pleasant. A great dram to share with family/friends or to have solo on a slow moving evening.

Gotta love it when high rye gets expressed as "smooth" but they did well with that. The rye flavor comes in without the punch and cinnamon and the result is a solid, creamy whiskey that's a respectable proof and a good overall sipper. A good cigar whiskey, too.

In a very good way, I’m not sure I've ever tasted that much caramel as the most prominent flavor to it. Then a little oak and Kentucky hug at the end. Very good and I give it the nod over Eagle Rare and Russell’s Reserve as my favorite ~$30 bottle.

Nose: Rye up front, floral, spice, fennel, caramel, and vanilla. Palate: vanilla, caramel, and black pepper. Overall: Alot of rye characteristsics, but the vanila and caramel notes tie back to bourbon. Nothing complex, but solid overall.

This is such a great high-rye, easy sipping bourbon. You definitely know it’s high rye, but there’s a creamy buttery finish every time I drink this. It’s not super thick or complex, just solid at $30-$40. We’ll keep it on the bar.

Nose: Ethanol, corn forward Palette: Sweet on the front, ethanol, corn sweetness Finish: medium spice, little ethanol burn Overall: Pretty good, smooth, young bourbon. Not too complex. Value at $30 or less, no more.
