Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 5 from Buffalo Trace is bottled at a barrel proof of 129.7 proof. The straight bourbon is uncut and unfiltered, and is matured for over eight years. It's intended to have a similar profile to the popular George T. Stagg, and is released in batches twice per year. Batch 5 is expected in fall 2015.

Caramel, leather, green apple, long lingering finish. Huge amount of flavor. I need to add some water to this one to enjoy it.

Holy strong. Burns the nose and throat all the way down. Little ice and water and it’s very good. Caramel finish.
