Tasting- this is 2 oz neat, Binnys SIB pick at 111 proof in a glen cairn Nose- Cinnamon stick, a bit of ethanol, and vanilla cream cheese frosting. Palate- Cinnamon candy, vanilla frosting, and fresh baked pastry dough. This is like a cinnabon! Only complaint is that it rides a tad bit hot, but quickly tempered with a few drops of water. Mouthfeel is creamy, and luxurious Finish- long and spicy. The cinnabon roll turns to hot tamale candies. Overall- completely unique! I have never tasted a finished bourbon like it. If you were expecting traditional bourbon flavors- this isn't it. Starlight has done something completely different here. Normally their finished bourbon tastes young, and the finishes used to dress that up. Here it is transformed to something completely unique and complimentary. Overall a very good experience. Traditional bourbon drinkers will find it all wrong. Exploratory whiskey enthusiasts will find it a completely "on of a kind." I am torn on this one.

One of a kind. The Nose is an incredible and unique experience that will have you struggling to find the right words. Notes of cherry, apple strudel, rum, and ash. Fruit forward yet reminds me of my grandfathers tobacco pipe. The pallet is very approachable. Unique and complex without being over-proofed. Smooth vanilla up front with lingering complexity and spice on the back end will keep you going back for more. Keeping on par with the nose, you will notice a slight longering of smoke and ash. One of the more unique bottles I own. Fantastic value.

Nose is very sweet, caramel, slight citrus, cinnamon, dried fruit Taste is fantastic, very sweet honey, dark chocolate, cinnamon, orange citrus, minty almost menthol. Reminiscent of an orange cough drop. A light cigar enhances these flavors, especially the sweetness and cinnamon. This is top 3 for me. Awesome bottle.

This thing is outstanding. I absolutely love the amburana finish. Others are following the lead on this one but Starlight will always be the original for me. If you havent tried an amburana finish, you have to. Thanks for this one Starlight!!

A smooth vanilla bomb mixed with an apple rum and a cinnamon whiskey finish. Very good and surprised it’s only 4.5 years. Smells amazing and drinks much better than a young whiskey.
