The Olorosso Sherry finish shines through on this one taking you through a wonderful journey of classic bourbon and landing on a super jammy finish that lasts longer than expected. This one stands out among any other finished bourbon I’ve had. Definitely belongs on any shelf. I feel as though Starlight has become the standard for the craft bourbon market in the US.

Strong smells a charred barrels, fig and grape. Really nice way to start things off. Velvety texture orange peel, rich flavors or dark fruits and oak on palate. The finish is long with burnt caramel and vanilla. Slight sticky mouth feel, but overall very nice barrel finished bourbon.
It comes off as a spice bomb. Too much heat forward and the finish will strip paint. Paired with Rabbit hole and Thomas Moore wine cask finishes and preferred both over Huber.
Nice finish with the sherry casks. Not as corn and oak on the nose as expected. Fine bourbon overall. First time sold in Kansas Feb 2022.
#FB166-2 51.4% 4.5yr. Reduced wine and maple syrup. Bready grains with cinnamon. A little heat on the finish.
Young, but complex. Good balance of sweet and spice in nose and palate. Raw finish
