Starlight Distillery Toasted Barrel Limited Release Bourbon Whiskey

AGE // 5 Years NEAT NOSE - Light Brown Sugar, Vanilla, Honey-drizzled Sugar Cookies PALATE - Initially, there’s alot of sweetness. There’s honey, graham cracker, and vanilla. Then there’s a flash of grainy youthfulness followed by sweet oak that introduces the finish. The mouthfeel is a velvety. FINISH - Decently long, surprising given the age. The finish is full of honey and sweet oak. BUY? - Yes. I almost passed on this one and I’m glad I didn’t for $65. BUY AGAIN? - Yes. Also, I look forward to more whiskey from Starlight. This is my first taste of Starlight and I’m a fan. I’d especially love to try this stuff with some more age.
