Blended for Total Wine & More NAS 58.66% abv; 117.32 proof Original price $99.99; Sale price $85.99 Open 2 months Nose - Caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, black cherry, light maple, light oak, and medium ethanol. Very classic nose. Palate - Mixed berries, cooked apples, cinnamon, dark honey, Luxardo cherries, toasted vanilla, and oolong tea. Finish is medium with sweet oak, pie crust, Luxardo cherry syrup, peanut brittle, and medium ethanol. This is my first Stellum pick in a while, and it's solid. The flavors are classic bourbon, done better than a lot of other blenders and NDP picks. It's a 4-star bourbon, but I'm knocking it slightly because of the original price. For $100 I want a little more information on what goes into this bottle. Barrell is more transparent with Barrell than they are with Stellum. The real question is, why should I pay MSRP $100 for this when I can find Barrell Bourbon batches for $80?
