Just revisited this. Initially wasn't a fan of stumpys but just tried a taste from a new bottle. Batch 20L1 which their website says is a wheated. For $38 it is definitely worth another bottle. Young distillery...interested to see what their stuff tastes like as it continues to age.

Had single barrel #60. Great 90 proof bourbon at $35. Was told it was 2 years old and 60% corn. Definitely one of the better craft bourbons I've tasted....by a distillery that actually makes its bourbon. Excited to see what this becomes in a few more years.

Great nose. Very sweet with apple/pear and some honeysuckle on nose and palate. Smooth finish with a light burn. Tried it on an ABV Network blind taste test. It finished 2nd for me but ties for 3rd with group behind BT and Old Tub.

This is my 3rd bottle. Barrel #139. I absolutely love it. Lots of vanilla on the palate and smells like a bag of candy. Good amount of caramel nose and palate. Pleasantly coats the tongue

Not much on the nose. Slight vanilla/caramel Taste was sweet, more vanilla, and oak on the finish. Real good for a young bourbon.

J Hyphen 2.8

Leathery, woody, hint vanilla, rich, sweet, earthy, hint ripe cherries, trace herbal, medium finish
