Sweet Grass Bourbon Barrel Proof

Bought this randomly when I saw this was a KY straight Whiskey, but was Bottled in SC. Nose: lots of caramel, vanilla, and butterscotch. There was a bit of licorice and spearmint at first, but that faded behind the sweet notes as it opened up Palate: the spearmint reappears at the front of the palate and then turns to clove and vanilla mid palate and towards the back with a hint of pepper spice. Finish: there is some initial heat with some red hots type of spice and then fades to more spearmint and vanilla for a short to medium finish.
