Sweetens Cove 13 Year Tennessee Bourbon is a cask strength straight bourbon. The brand hired master distiller Marianne Eaves who took 100 barrels of 13 year-old Tennessee bourbon and blended and batched them to produce 14,000 bottles. Bottled at cask strength, the ABV and flavor profile will vary between batches. Sweetens Cove is a nine-hole golf course which opened in 2014 just outside Chattanooga, Tennessee. Athletes Peyton Manning and Andy Roddick are among the owners of the course and the whiskey brand.

Nose: dark dried fruits, brown sugar, and a little ethanol. Smells both mouthwatering and a little boozy. Pink bubblegum develops late Palate: citrus, celery, vanilla, caramel, menthol, fresh red fruit Finish: menthol, citrus rind, cherries, white pepper, cough syrup A tasty and complex bourbon with nice sweetness. Pricey, however.
It’s very complex I will give it that but I personally feel it is heavily oaked to a bitter point with heavy tobacco. I get the sweeter notes but the age takes over. Mine is a sample that was given to me so not sure if this sample does it justice but for me it’s a hard pass.
Toasted marshmallow and hints of cotton candy on the nose. Leather, vanilla, ah I have no idea what I’m doing. This is pretty decent stuff but I’m sure way overpriced. Happily received as a generous gift but won’t spend $200 for another when it’s gone.
Sweet! Delicious bottle that’s not just an overhyped Peyton Manning product. I’m happy with the $180 price I got it at. Not sure I’d but it consistently, but it was great to try and add to the collection at home!
Nose Sweet Balanced Very nice Palate mouth full of nuts -reminds me of Dickle BIB maybe more nut here - need to do side by side Finish enjoyable nut fades to even lasting pleasant finish
