Neat was ok, it’s rich, semisweet, spicy, loads of wood and everything was too intense. After a dribble of water, it’s still woody and intense, but more enjoyable, as dark chocolate, orange peel, raisin, cinnamon and other baking spice, leather, nuts, and vanilla notes shine through.

Hangs out in that same space as Glendronach CS. Different, but similar overall quality and value.
