It has some great elements, but somehow everything seems muted. Like a great song with the volume turned down too low. This is my initial couple of tastes with just a drop of water. Will try a bit more water next time around and hopefully it will open the flavors more.

It’s good, but not a typical rye to me. It’s smooth instead of spicy. The malted barley stands out, reminds me of a scotch, maybe Dalmore 12, with some crown royal winter wheat mixed in. I got it on sale for $12 off. Can’t say I would pay full price for it.
Not bad for an old fashioned, the high rye really stands out on the nose and it's quite spicy. But there are much cheaper options to accomplish the same end goal.
Not good. Nose is weird - a little like caramel but not one I’d eat. For a high rye, I got zero spice. Absolutely no finish. Would not recommend.
Very high rye. Spicy but not overwhelming. Nice depth. Good stuff. Distillery tour at the Cavalier Hotel 2/16/19
Initial vanilla, then a spicy/hot rye. Finishes smooth. I think it would make a GREAT Manhattan.
