About this bottle
Launched in November 2016 is Colección de la Casa Reserva 2016, an updated version of Casa Herradura's original and successful reposado release from 2012. Produced in Amatitán, Jalisco and double-distilled from 100% blue weber agave, it is also double-matured ---initially resting 11 months in medium-char American white oak casks, followed by an additional 2 months in port casks. These finishing casks were hand selected from Portugal and previously used in the aging of port from the Duoro Valley. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
