Balvenie Thirty 30 Year

Elegant and sublime. Nose: Raisins, Honey, Peaches, Milk Chocolate, Roses, Violets, Lavender, Pineapples, Strawberries and Cream, Almonds, White Chocolate Syrup, Prunes, Hazlenuts, Cookie Dough Palate: Vanilla, Raisins, Coconuts, Plums, Gingerbread, Almonds, Walnuts, Hazlenuts, Orange Peels, Mocha, Nutmeg, Luxardo Cherries, Stewed Red Apples, Cinnamon, Pears Finish: Raisins, Espresso, Nutmeg, Licorice, Cloves, Honey, Toffee, Cherries, Maple Syrup, Black Tea, Orange Peels, Ginger

A let down in terms of presentation and flavor. The Tun series is much better and Macallan Rare blew it out of water. Still glad I did it but hindsight I would have picked another 30. This is from a balvenie regular

So disappointing. The only thing I got in addition to the 21 was gasoline - or acetone, as the whiskey exchange says. Strange... 90 points, really not worth the crazy price

Sweet fruity palate. Not peaty at all.
