About this bottle
The Balvenie Tun 1401, Batch 8 is a marriage of barrels from the distillery’s Warehouse 24. Bottled in 2013, this is a vatting of nine American oak casks and three European oak sherry butts, whose ages span a number of decades, and which have all been hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. The whisky was rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel. Released exclusively for the European market.
