These bitters are based on a recipe that was used by prominent late 19th century bartender Jerry Thomas. It is flavored with ginger, tangerine oil, almond, dried fruits, orange peel, and Angostura bark. It is bottled at 30% ABV.

This is my favorite bitter, which adds an additional layer of flavor to both American and Canadian rye whisky. This is the one I prefer, after trying many different aromatic bitters. If you want to elevate your rye, this is the bitters you need.
Tastes VERY similar to Angostura, but IMHO is superior, because it enhances cocktails with brighter flavors.
