With the popularity of Eden Mill Rose creating a shortage on local shelves, I went looking for a substitute. While Rosemary Gin lacks that wonderful floral bitterness of Hibiscus, it more than makes up for it with the depth that the culinary herb brings to the party. Great pairing with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic in a G&T.
I don’t get any rosemary. It’s super alcoholic and tends to overpower any delicate cocktail. Wouldn’t buy again.
The rosemary is apparent and serves for a nice twist on a typical gin. Mild overall, lacks some zing.
