About this bottle
The Last Drop, a rare spirit specialist, announced this release in spring 2019. Two single cask single malt whiskies from Glenrothes were bottled on the same day, October 27, 1969 and released as a duo for The Last Drop's 15th release. Each matured for 50 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Cask #16207 yielded just 141 bottles and was bottled at 46.8% ABV while cask #16203 yielded just 130 bottles and was bottled at 45.7% ABV. As with all of The Last Drop releases, each bottle comes together with its signature 50ml miniature replica and pocket sized, leather bound tasting book with additional pages for your personal tasting notes.
