About this bottle
Released in 2017, the Exceptional Single Cask Series from The Macallan features sherry-seasoned casks. All of the whiskies are bottled with natural color, no chill filtration, and at cask strength. For this release, it matured in a European oak sherry hogshead. It was distilled on the 13th of November 1996 and bottled on the 31st of August 2017. Only 296 bottles were produced. Bottled at 54.6% ABV.
