This is a bourbon distilled from a mash bill of 55% corn, 35% rye, and 10% Victory malt that is fermented in closed steel fermentation tanks using 2 different yeast strains — a "house" yeast and brandy yeast. It is double pot distilled and proofed to 105 before at least 4 years of aging in 53-gallon new, American oak barrels with a #2 char. It is bottled at 100 proof, as per bottled in bond specifications.

This interesting whiskey presents brown sugar, leather, and dried apricot on the nose. On the palate, cinnamon, floral notes, tobacco, and baked apples. This whiskey provides a thick, oily mouthfeel, but provides a very short (but sweet) finish.
