About this bottle

This is the second release in TINCUP's Fourteener series, an annual limited edition series which highlights Colorado's 14ers β€” mountain peaks with an elevation of at least 14,000 feet. Quandary Peak, one of the most popular 14er hikes in Colorado is illustrated on the bottle and it celebrates the Ten Mile Range of the Rocky Mountains. The whiskey is a straight bourbon which has been aged for 14 years in new, charred American white oak barrels. It is cut to proof with Eldorado Springs water. Available online via the brand's website and at select retailers nationwide beginning October 11, 2023. (SRP $70)

πŸ‘ƒ this isn't going to sound nice, but it is. Bubblegum toothpaste. Idk, I kinda like it πŸ‘„ Standard, well aged, oakey, caramel goodness 🏁 So smooth. 14 years in a barrel really got rid of that ethanol Rare to find a 14 year aged bourbon and even more rare to find one that tastes good and not over-oaked. I'll take this over Elijah Craig 18 πŸ‘€

Multiple flavors come through which makes it hard to identify. Very smooth and sweet but nothing stands out. I don’t taste vanilla and carmel like the description. Probably not worth the price.

dennisgarrett 4.3

Little bit of smoke, vanilla, sweet, overall a good pour.

J C Klam 4.5
