A rich, indie Tobermory, bottled by Douglas Laing! This single malt from the Isle of Mull was distilled in April 1995 & allowed to age in a refill hogshead for 21 years, then bottled in November 2016 for the Old Particular range. 313 bottles were produced. It has a delicate birth with notes of creamy lemon & lime, hints of vanilla & coastal air; while a rich life added notes of citrus, egg tart, cinnamon & filo pastry; that led to a long & balanced death with notes of salted chocolate, honied barley, a hint of Turkish Delight & floral sweetness.
