2017 barrel bottling. Surprisingly little nose on this. Faint notes of Sherry, ginger snaps, caramel, and nilla wafers. Grassy rye notes hide underneath Medium to full-bodied viscosity, with a lot of rye coming through. Grassy spiciness with caramel, brown sugar, and something fruity and floral rounding out the finish. Medium long finish. I'm surprised by how much I like this.

Town Branch Bourbon Single Barrel # 4258 / Fill Date 17 B 03 / 107.7 Proof It is an intense, cask strength, Bourbon from Lexington, Kentucky. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood & spice; while a rich & bold life adds notes of caramel corn, honey, dates & peach; that led to a long & spicy death with notes of rye, cinnamon, brown sugar & oak. RoamingTimber 5.0

Best bourbon I’ve had. Lots of great flavors, just the right amount of burn. Has a great cigar box tobacco note to it, I had a Single barrel reserve, hand selected by Jonathon Maisano for Maisano’s in Ocean Springs, MS.

Tomuku 4.0

smooth and strong. oaky with not a lot of burn. While it does taste heavier than many standard bourbons, for a cask strength it doesn't pack that "punch in the mouth" potency and is very smooth
