Trail's End 8 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Apple Brandy Casks

A sweet caramel and honey hits then transitions to a oak, leather, golden apple, dried fruit, hay, then with the finish comes a long finish, with fine calvados-esque crispness and spice. this is a unique bourbon for sure and comes from hood river who makes mcarthy single malt. A barrel finish bourbon that works with the cask finish rather than obscure the bourbon.

Little boozier than regular Trails End 8 but not dramatically better. Lots of vanilla and raisin. Great bourbon. So smooth.
