I purchased this because it was on clearance, and I was curious. After one sip I knew I had made a mistake. No detectable juniper. Tastes more like a peppery vodka.

About this bottle
Introduced in 2015, this gin is the third release in 3 Badge Mixology's Uncle Val's Gin series. To make it, four botanicals (juniper, red bell pepper, black pepper and pimento) are infused with a neutral grain spirit before distillation. The gin is then bottled at 45% ABV.

Definitely not for everybody; so peppery it almost tastes like dry salami. Balance is great however and it is something all gin enthusiasts should experience once
