Nose: carmel and oak and doughy pie crust (yum). Green apple dipped in brown sugar. Lots of gooey thick caramel. After two sips a little faint rye wafted out of the glencairn. Body: medium to full, fairly robust Palate: smokey caramel, barrel spice. Some sweetness with the spice but this is not a wilting daisy this really brings a little punchiness to the palate. Robust flavor for the abv, seens to be punching above its weight. Not a complicated dram and a really good bourbon that says “hey, im a good bourbon you will repesct me” this is good. Finish: long and smokey. So delicious. Note: another taste from don. I like the 2021 version so lets see how this goes. I like this more than wizard pappy. This is really good.

Tastes like a mix of Eagle rare and buffalo trace, but ramped up. Big caramel flavor with a unique diactyl addition. More of a complex / candied finish that hangs on for a while. Good stuff
