Cornbread with butter and syrup on the nose, a sloght funk like cheesecake. Hot to start, peppery from the high proof. Second sip mellows out after the intial shock significantly and yields a delicate warn sweetness with high wheat notes and malty, full undertones. Not a deep flavor like leather or oak, but more of a pleasant sherry and warm bread taste. Smooth, oily, and easy finish. Definitely a premium whiskey. Redish tint and a fancy flavor.

Hot on entry but manageable (2021 Limited Edition, 109.8 proof, batch 8, bottle 239). Syrupy sweetness and some cinnamon, conjured memories of cinnamon raisin toast. Good bourbon in general, but very good bourbon when one considers how young this distillery is.
Bought and tried because of gold medal awards and curious about all malt. The malt just isn’t for my pallet. I’m sure others will love.
SMOKE and vanilla on the nose, along with a BURN. Thin, only aged 7 months per bottle, and burn in the finish. Did not enjoy.
