Weller Antique Single Barrel Select (L&K Over and Out UFC)

The nose is a wonderful mix of creamy oak, vanilla and ripe fruit, with an added richness that you don't usually get from Antique. Notes of brown sugar and baking spices gently come out, rounding off this very dessert like presentation. The palate If the burst of baking spices in oak, wrapped in notes of creamy vanilla and ripe fruit. The flavors continue to swirl and evolve, eventually coming together in a funky oak sort of way. Oak is definitely the highlight of this while still presenting its traditional notes, but more intensely. It presents everything uniquely and simply, but making for one fantastic experience. The finish is long, oaky and somewhat chewy, as baking spices keep the mouth somewhat tingly as everything comes together and melts away.
