About this bottle
Westland's Cask Exploration Series is made in collaboration with brewers and winemakers of the Pacific Northwest. This second Wine Cask Finish batch was made using Westland's signature five-malt mash bill and was initially matured in first and second fill American oak. It was then finished in wine casks from the Pacific Northwest including Tempranillo, Washington State red blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. Matured for 5-9 years, it's bottled at 92 proof with 9048 bottles created for batch 2. Available at the distillery and via e-commerce in August 2025, nationwide availability begins September 2025.
