Wheel Horse Bourbon (Batch 2)

No legs. Nose offers barn hay, apple pie, cardamom, and cream of tartar, very mild. Palate brings a sweeter, spicier pie profile. This is not too complex, but very nice. Finish actually presents a little cocoa, but not bitter. Not a stellar whiskey, but very pleasant. I could drink this casually on the rocks, or as a good mixer.

A good bourbon that sits well at 100+ proof. Clean on the initial taste, but also delivers a warm carmel. Nice heat on the after slug. Good bourbon, I will enjoy this bottle, and might even try a few mixers with it.

This is not bad. Warm, roasty, cheap.
