Nose: Butter, corn meal, vanilla pudding. Palate: reminded me of creamed corn on a slice of rye bread. Very thick viscosity. This is a young whiskey which has that can of cream corn, mashy taste out front. Needs some time in the barrel to gather up all of the spicy, woody notes, and temper all of that corn. Finish: Earthy. Tasted like topsoil on the finish and I wasn't a fan Overall: Marginal whiskey at that. It is new and mashy, thick and syrupy. It is not horrible but not my favorite.

Delicious! This is a newer distillery I have been following and their juice continues to get better and better with age. They raise all their own grain and distill it on their family farm outside of Chicago. Fairly complex for youth, caramel, definite corn, spice and a bit of dried orange peel. Nice nose and finish. Impressed.
Very young green woody, grassy, earthy nose. Faint sweetness in the nose, not quite vanilla... Maybe like a marshmallow. Light on the palate, very thin. Light barrel char flavor, bit of an herby flavor with a typical peppery rye lingering on the finish. Comparable to Journeyman Featherbone, but better.
Dad and I enjoyed this more after adding an ice cube. It was pretty harsh on our palate by first trying it out neat. This needs more barrel time (only 2years). I’ll have to revisit this in the future, it’s not bad.
Nose: Brite. Citrus Orange and Brown Sugar. Palate: Cocoa and Toffee. Grassy Sweetness. Finish: Soft Spice. Minimal Chew. Soft Tobacco and Marshmallow Overall it's young, but very decent
Very different pour... but great! Fruity.. apples, pears, apricots, but very smooth and lots of flavor with a bite to the finish. Corn! Very satisfied for my first pour out of Kentucky.
