Strong rye finish (spearmint double mint type). Rather light and airy. Smells leathery and calm. Little rye kick with that spearmint finish. Never had regular piggyback but I feel like the baseball bats add that leathery wood like note. My tasting notes and such are very fresh. Bigger swigs lead to a heavier rye spice and heat.

Maybe biased here as a native Bostonian but I enjoyed this. Preferred the sharpness in an Old Fashioned vs. straight, but getting mostly spice, caramel, and hints of vanilla. There’s a subtle complexity to this one if you give it the time of day. Gimmicky for sure, but I enjoyed it.
For the money just go buy a bottle of buffalo. Save $20. It's fine for what it is but not like go to. Good honey notes
Mostly grain on the nose, with a hint of syrup. Taste is clean and warm. A solid, simple rye.
Surprising how much maple I can pull out of this. It's made me a fan of whistlepig
